Ad Operations Coordinator

Job Description

The Ad Operations Coordinator position will involve, but not be limited to, generating and updating client and third-party reports, trafficking of digital ad campaigns in Google Ad Manager (including AdX) and other ad servers, communicating and following up with team members and clients regarding the status of insertion orders, creatives, reports, inventory and general client requests. Your role is to ensure that all client deliverables are being met in accordance with OAO’s high standards of client service. You are organized, curious, motivated, detail oriented, and are able to multitask very well.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and launch online ad campaigns into client-specific ad serving platforms

  • Work closely with client contacts to provide ad operations support and communicate status of campaigns, technical issues, launch delays, delivery issues, etc.

  • Perform quality assurance/quality control checks on client campaigns to ensure that all placements and creative have been set up correctly and are delivering on pace

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to ensure customer satisfaction and provide suggestions for optimization

  • Assist with documenting, updating and maintaining trafficking and work-flow procedures for client accounts

  • Address day-to-day issues and questions from clients and internal personnel

  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

You will work with team members and other internal groups to make sure issues and questions are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. You will also work very closely with client contacts on a regular basis to ensure that insertion orders are clearly understood, creatives are tested and approved and that all deliverables are being met. In addition, you will also address day-to-day issues and questions from clients and internal personnel and assist with troubleshooting technical issues, ad serving errors and reporting discrepancies. Other responsibilities include communicating ideas for improving and refining workflow processes for assigned accounts and assisting with the training of new hires.

Job Description

Technical Account Managers are part of our professional services group and are responsible for managing strategic accounts and client-driven initiatives that include, but are not limited to, programmatic stack implementations, ad tag implementations, ad server migrations, and other technical integrations across web, video player, OTT, and mobile devices. Moreover, with the increased proliferation of programmatic advertising in the ad tech space, the Technical Account Manager will also play a vital role in leading programmatic implementations and demand source management for a variety of publisher accounts. This position will provide guidance and support to internal and external cross-functional teams and will seek to identify solutions that would benefit each client’s strategic objectives. You have a strong understanding of AM360 (DFP + AdX), experience with programmatic demand sources, a client services background, and project management aptitude. You are technically adept, organized, proactive, detail oriented, innovative, and work well within a fast-paced, team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as project manager for internal and client-driven technical projects and integrations

  • Foster and manage business relationships with a wide variety of clients

  • Manage programmatic stack implementations for a wide variety of clients; typically, this involves setting up AdX, exchange bidding, header bidding, and configuration of various demand sources

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs and deliverables are being addressed and resolved

  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to ad server technology and/or ad tag implementations for both clients and internal teams

Agency Ad Operations Manager

Job Description

A relatively new practice at OAO, this is an exciting opportunity for a DCM trafficker with a few years of experience to help grow and influence this part of our business. This position will be responsible for managing client relationships and for executing all campaign deliverables for assigned accounts. There will be opportunity to work with and manage freelance employees and to also train and mentor internal personnel and new hires.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact for agency-side clients and perform all necessary tasks to ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on time.

  • Organize, prepare and deliver campaign assets and instructions to applicable media publications.

  • Effectively communicate status of campaigns, technical issues, launch delays, delivery issues, etc. to client contacts.

  • Monitor and report campaign analytics and data

  • Troubleshoot ad creative issues that may impact tracking, implementation, or reporting

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and address ideas to improve the ad ops process.

  • Utilize experience to develop solutions and document internal procedures and best practices (workflow, requirements, QA process, etc.)

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years working in digital agency / buy-side ad operations role.

  • Proficiency with DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM) and DoubleClick Bid Manager (DBM).

  • Experience with 3rd party rich media vendors, creative types, and reporting.

  • Must be technically adept within the digital ad space and be able to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
